The Sunderbans environment is an universe natural wonder. The delta, which stretches between India and Bangladesh, is the world's largest halophytic mangrove forest, covering 10,000 square kilometres. The Bengal delta is formed by the confluence of the Ganga and the Brahamputra rivers. The Royal Bengal Tigers rule the entire area.
The Sunderbans National Park covers roughly 1,355 km2 and is home to tigers. September and May are the best months to explore this park. During the winter, beautiful and powerful Royal Bengal Tigers can be seen sunbathing on the riverbanks of Bengal. Besides Bengal Tiger, the park is home to Macaques, Indian Grey Mongoose, Leopard Cats, Ridley Sea Turtle, Wild Boar, Jungle Cat, Fox, Flying Fox, Fishing Cats, Chital, Pangolin, and many more species of wild animals.
